Drama
Drama is one of the subjects of the artistic department. The students can chose between Art, Music and Drama. Here the creative acting of a group is important. Individual performances are always connected to the group, which is like an adventure for the students as well as for the teacher. This special form of interdependence develops specific working and social strategies and supports democratic developments.

This is what we do:

  • getting to know possibilities of expressing oneself (body, voice)
  • acting on stage (with props, light, etc.)
  • learning to watch and listen
  • interaction with people and objects when encountering and solving problems
  • experience success as an individual and group achievement

But there is also theory

  • working with aesthetic problems (contents, form)
  • learning to assess and develop different styles of acting
  • understanding of forms of presentation in theatre, theatre theory and historical and modern means of presentation
  • use of texts of theatre, secondary literature and theatre science
