Association to support the school for blind and visually handicapped students Brandenburg

Being blind or visually handicapped you have to compensate this disadvantage. Special education and help from fellow human beings is needed. The state cannot fulfil all the tasks that arise from those needs. The association to support the school was founded in 1993 and wants to help fulfilling all the needs of our students. We want to support financially the work of the school, parents, fellow human beings and institutions interested in the development of our school. A great help have been several individual people and foundations. Here, we would like to thank the Dr. Georg - Blinden foundation in Bad Rothenfelde, the Paul and Charlotte Kniese- foundation in Berlin and the local companies C&A KW Wildau, the E.DIS AG and the Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse.

All of them and others have contributed to financing projects that support and develop school education and special skills. A lot of special aids for visually impaired students could be provided this way. Students could go on excursions in Germany and abroad and qualified personnel could be paid.

To continue this work, every new member and every financial and material donation is welcome, so that the integration of blind and visually handicapped students can be supported and developed.
